Does anyone recognize this flower?

So I have just posted a necklace on Zazzle featuring a pink wildflower I photographed in San Diego. I like to think I know my flowers, but am stumped on this one! It could be a cactus flower, but I'm not sure. It looks more like a seaside variety:

Quirky designs for the jewelry collector

Though Cafepress and Zazzle offer somewhat limited product where jewelry is concerned, I found they turned out great once I applied my designs. Cafepress offers glass jewelry and Zazzle offers ceramic, with the option of choosing sterling silver. However if you are thinking gifts, you can choose a lovely gift box featuring the same design as the jewelry you choose.
